How To Be A Pastor, Pastor Training

How to Become an Officiant | Be a Pastor | Be a Minister | Be a Reverend
First it should be explained that to Be A Pastor requires a Congregation. Yes many people use the title of Pastor, but our goal is to teach you the different meanings of titles.

As you create or take over a congregation you Become Pastor through serving the congregation.
In some ways discussing a Youth Pastor provides a better understanding of what many have made confusing. To be a youth Pastor it only makes sense that you need young people to Pastor to or you are just talking to empty chairs. We can be ministers, hold the Honorific of Reverend, but like the youth Pastors without a congregation, being a Pastor is an improper title. Pastoring compared to performing weddings demands you become a Competent Counselor, a Preacher of your faith, someone to raise up those in need as well as a good book keeper and administrator.
Lutheran and other churches call their Clergy members Pastors as they are all attached to the local and Diocese Congregational Bodies. Being a Pastor for most ministers comes from starting a fellowship/ministry, building an organization of members, and leading or guiding the individuals and congregation in many directions.

Compete Ordination

You can go online and request a credential Becoming A Pastor, but what do you really have? Yes we offer them and many other credentials as we want you to feel comfortable in helping others, and they are all legal documents. That does not make them the proper ones for you if your service to others is not about Pastoring, but performing weddings, Chaplain services or many others.

Knowing How To Be A Pastor is much more complicated than just being ordained. The term Pastor comes from the German term meaning you have learned full husbandry in your field. Yes an Ordained Minister is often a Pastor as well, but today many will specialize in specific fields or service and do not learn Husbandry of a full Minister or Pastor. It's okay. We offer training so you can learn as you go.

You became ordained to help others, share special moments, yet it is understandable why many Pastors are hesitant to allow online ministers to jump right into their churches. Our goal is to help you learn the many directions of ministry so you can be accepted in all walks of faith.

It is important to know we are here to help you Become A Pastor, teach you, and guide you as you become more than an online Pastor in title only. Please use our pages to learn and grow. We know you can be wonderful serving others.
